Like, there is a fruit vendor who is selling oranges. Then two boys arrive at the fruit stall and one boy buys 4 oranges his friend then buys 2 more oranges and gives it to his friend. Then the teacher can demonstrate the whole act on the board and asks the students, there are how many oranges with the first boy in total. Students start counting the oranges and find the answer. The teacher can repeat the activity till all the students have understood the method.
